Do you have any used hockey equipment that you are looking to get rid of or donate? This year the New Hamburg Huskies U11 B team has partnered with a great organization that collects and distributes used hockey equipment to underserved indigenous communities across Canada.
On Saturday, January 17, from 8:30am - 2:00pm, the Huskies will be running an equipment drive at the Wilmot Rec Complex, looking to collect and sort gently used gear that can be donated to the cause.
All collected equipment will be provided to indigenous communities across Canada, in partnership with Their Opportunity, an organization that seeks to educate, uplift, and support children to overcome barriers through the strength of sport. You can read more about Their Opportunity Here
