U10-U16 Information on
Pre Evaluation Development Skates
NHHA is pleased to offer pre evaluation development skates for each age group from U10 to U16 ahead of the first Evaluation.
These skates, along with the Body Checking Clinic (for players born in 2012 and 2011), are only open to players registered with NHHA for the 2024-2025 season. We are not permitted to let any players who did not play for the NHHA in 2024-2025 attend these sessions.
For goaltenders we have added two goalie specific pre-evaluation skates as part of the pre evaluation development skates. To attend you must register for the development skates.
Please note that space is limited, but we’ll do our best to add more times and sessions for
waitlisted age groups.

Goaltenders:
Sunday April 13 – 5:00-6:00pm U10-U12
Sunday April 13 - 6:00pm-7:00pm U13-U16,
Thursday April 24 - 6pm-7:00pm U10-U12
Thursday April 24 - 7:00pm-8:00pm U13-U16
Important Notes:
- The age groups U11, 13 and U14 have two hour sessions due to high registration numbers. If your
last name starts with A to L please attend the first hour. If your last name starts with a K to Z
please plan to attend the second hour. Once registration is closed players may be asked to
switch sessions if there is a large imbalance.
-If you are looking at the separate page that lists Development skates and Evaluation skates, no times before April 21 are shown there. Please pay close attention to the dates listed here and on the main calendar
-For birth years 2015 and 2013. On the calendar on April 15, it states that the development skates are for U10 and U12. This is because it is still under our current 2024-2025 season. PLEASE ATTEND THESE SKATES. The website doesn't roll over to the new 2025-2026 season until April 20. After that date all your development skates will be shown under U11 and U13.
