PeeWee AE's Advance to Tri-County Championship Finals

The Expressway PeeWee AE team was intent on setting the tone for their Tri-County League Playoffs after being bumped out of the OMHA league playoffs. The Huskies would play two three-game series versus the Hespeler Shamrocks and Orangeville Flyers. The pool winner would advance to the Tri-County Championship best of five series.

The team maintained their strong physical presence and puck management through the series. Netminders Tyler Jackman and Max Evans kept the pads stacked and gloves ready to stop numerous attempts from the competition. This mental stability and physical prowess resulted with them cinching the team's tenth shutout of the season. The defensive wall erected on the opponents blue line by Adam Barr, Joey Entz, Dale Jurica, Alexander Kyle, Emmet Latyn and Ryan Pierson set and contributed many of the team's points when not clearing the Huskies' zone of unwanted attackers. Charging Forwards Scott Carey, Nick Egli, Daniel Farrish, Ethan Field, Sam Herrle, Jared Proll, Josh Potts, Brandon Ropp and Tyson Wagler kept the pedal down hitting the back of the opposition's net repeatedly. March 7th was the final series game at WRC with Orangeville which resulted in the Huskies earning a 4-3 OT victory. The final victory earned them a convincing 6-0 record with 25GF and 11GA. The Expressway Huskies will now play in the Tri County league Championship series versus Woolwich once the schedule is set. GO HUSKIES!!!
