PeeWee LL#3 Clench First Win

The Josslin Insurance PeeWee LL #3 New Hamburg Huskies finally broke the curse and secured their first win in regular season on the weekend.
The Huskies beat Paris LL#2 with a score of 4-2 though the action continued down to the wire, and fans were kept on the edge of their seat counting down the seconds. The Huskies have had a winless season thus far with many ties. Outstanding hustle and effort from Devin Mechalko and Mason Wager, who both used their physical presence. Jack Weiler lit the lamp in the second period with a beautiful wrist shot past the Paris goalie. Ryan and Hillar and Charlie Slessor (2) continued the scoring for the Huskies with assists from Mechalko and Weiler. Logan Arnott, Alex Gruhl and Marcus Scheid were solid in the play as they back checked and created loads of offensive chances. Good luck to the Huskies as they take on Twin Centre and Ayr this week.
