4 Wins and Rolling
4 - 0 win to go 4 - 0 on the season.

The much improved LL1 Team really put our boys to the test Saturday morning. The first period was a back and forth affair with great defence and goaltending at both ends. It seemed as though no team was going to get the upper hand until Owen Donkers outhustled the defenders and went screaming in alone and rang the puck off the post. Although the 1st period was deadlocked with no goals scored, Owens hustling and effort definitely sparked up the boys for the second period as they began to pepper the opposing goalie with a flurry of shots and goal opportunities. Our hard work getting to the puck finally paid off when Cohen Christner grabbed the puck and went end to end and scored with a dangle in which no goalie would have stood a chance. With the deadlock finally broken, our boys put it into high gear as Sammy Schaub buried his goal less than a minute later from his favorite spot beside the net. Sammy wasn't done there, as he also set up Riley Gerber with a perfect pass into the slot in which Riley snapped the puck just over the goaltender's pad for the 3rd goal of the period.
Going into the 3rd period you could see Brendan Gerber was looking to get into the scoring action as well. Brendan got his opportunity mid way through the period as Riley Gerber ripped a shot from the circle, the goaltender made a great save, but the rebound ended up on Brendan's stick and he made no mistake as he fired it into the back of the net.
It was great to see the consistent effort of the whole team. Even going into the final period of the game, the boys kept up the tempo and never let up. Riley and Jayden are definitely the dynamic duo between the pipes as they come up big with another shutout! Great effort by everyone!
