A Solid TEAM Effort!
Your Huskies came up short this past weekend, but only on goals and not on effort!
We set out at the beginning of the season striving to be the hardest working Novice team, and week over week the boys continue to prove just that. Although the boys lost to the first place HL2 team 5-0 on Saturday, it was not indicative of their efforts. The boys showed improvement, in that this was the lowest goals against when facing this team. In juggling the lines, trying out a new offensive tactic and two new defensemen, the boys were still with consistent effort and hard work. Our hardest working player of the game was awarded to Caleb Hussey for showing that determination and high spirited play, often moving the puck along and contributing to a strong positional offense that all of the boys are learning, with hopes that their efforts will be continually rewarded with goals. (Especially for our upcoming tournaments!) Once again, a very strong TEAM effort, and all of the boys should be commended for their hard work!
