O is for 0 goals in October!
What a month for the Novice A Huskies !! This young crew of hockey speedsters showed that practices are paying off. A focal point this season has been to protect the ‘house’ and the month of October was something very special for the team as they allowed 0 goals in the entire month of October as they defended and fought for the puck to be sure no team could score!
In 8 games in October, the combined goals were 30 for and 0 against! Wins against Milton, Cambridge, Brampton, Guelph, Caledon, and 2 against Dundas as well as a 0-0 tie against 1st place Burlington have the Huskies playing a controlled game and capitalizing on chances to take the lead when they happen.
The Novices travel for their 2nd and final meeting with Burlington Saturday November 2. Home games Monday at 7pm are exciting so come on out and cheer them on!
