Huskies Still Winless in Woolwich
Strong play and solid effort didn't translate to the scoreboard Saturday in Woolwich when the Huskies visited the Wildcats in their new arena for the first time this year.
The Huskies came to play for sure skating very well with the Wildcats in the first two periods, winning battles and many face-offs at both ends of the ice. All the hard work, unfortunately, didn't produce points and the Wildcats seemed to capitalize on their chances in the third period to pull away for the win. Tyson scored our only goal during a rally in the offensive end but ultimately, we couldn't quite get even with Woolwich. Matthew continued to have a solid outing challenging the puckhandlers and claiming loose pucks at both ends of the rink easily claiming the Huskies Hammer award for the week.
We are gearing up for a big Home-and-Home with Paris LL1 this coming weekend and I'm sure many boys are looking to get back on the right side of the W's this week!
