Huskies Stumble at Start of Road Trip
The Atom LL1 HUSKIES started their extended road trip off with two losses this week and look to rebound at the next whistle stop Tuesday Jan 14 in Plattsville.

The Long trip away from home started with a Thursday night game in St Clements against the top twin cities team.  The boys skated very well against their strong opponent keeping pace but not getting the right bounces ending in a loss, but no questions asked about effort.  Carson grabbed the Huskies Hammer for this game with a decent two way effort and smooth coast to coast moves he must get from his mom.
The Saturday matinee shaped up to be much better with an excited bunch ready to take the ice in St George.  In another bad-bounce frustrating game, the boys kept up a seesaw battle, but lost a little focus and began chasing the puck and breaking down on positional play, ultimately losing 5-4.
These are the challenges that a relatively inexperienced group faces, but after some "rousing" coaches' speeches, we feel good good things to come when the bus rolls into Plattsville Tuesday night.
