HUSKIES VS WOOLWICH GAME NOTES
Another great game by all boys on Sunday afternoon even after a bit of a slower than normal start. Next weekend we will likely be one of our most competitive games of the year and I believe our boys are ready for the task. One thing that makes us very proud of them is that they never give up, even when behind on the score board. Well done boys.

Huskies come out strong from the face off and almost score! Woolwich gets a breakaway and Kia makes the save! they rebound and Jacob dove into the net reflecting the rebound! Aiden makes two amazing shot but woolwich goalie gloves it in time! We get a tripping leading to a penalty shot that Kia easily saves!!!! First period ends at 0-0 Ethan gets a great shot on net and Hunter almost plants one in in the same play. Marcus makes an amazing play keeping the puck in their end, passing to Braydon who almost scores! (Crowd goes wild!). Woolwich then gets a breakaway giving them a 1-0 lead with 5mins left. Huskies are determined to even the score. Marcus gets a great rebound shot and evens it up!! Logan and Braydon get amazing shots then Aidan plants one in the back of have net!!! Blake get a crowd pleasing shot but just misses! Second ends with huskies ahead 2-1. Kyle, Zach, Jacob, Ethan, Joel and Jared work hard to defend our end while Woolwich is determined to score. Our front lines did great at keeping be puck in their end during our whole penalty. Logan gets two awesome breakaways almost scoring!! Everyone hoping his determination will pay off! Jacob takes a boomer of a shot from the blue line and tips off Blake's stick scoring our 3rd goal!! Brandon makes a beauty pass to Aidan right in front of the net and just comes shy! The off the face off Joel plants one right in the back of the net!! Aidan with 1:32 left puts a perfect one in the top left corner of the net finishing it at 5-1. Way to go huskies!!!
