Bantam LL#3 wins Aylmer Tournament
Bantam LL#3 Huskies win Aylmer tournament on December 27, 2014
Bantam LL#3 Huskies played well and as a well oiled machine on Saturday in Aylmer to take away the Gold medal in this Christmas tournament.
Their first game against Belmont had them all skating fast and spot on passing to get a 3-1 win. Goals by Gryphon M(2), Jared P assists by Alex G, Jared P, Gryphon M and Joel E. Second game we faced Six Nations and a test to our boys to keep calm and play good hockey. Which they did by winning the game 6-2. Goals by Ryan P, Devin M, Brayden G, Gryphon M, Joel E(2) assists by Joe H(2), Nic P, Brayden G,Joel E, Gryphon M. With a nail biting wait to see who we face in the finals we win by ONE goal...which has us facing Aylmer in the gold medal game.
With the boys digging deep and playing great as a team they hold off scoring (not saying the "s" word) and great goal tending by Liam P, they hold them off till the third period. They finish with a 5-1 win and the gold medal. Goals that game by Jared P, Devin M(2), Joel E(2), assists by Alex G, Marcus S, Gryphon M(2),Nic P(2).
An amazing day of watching some great boys play some great hockey!!!
