OMHA Semi-Final: Huskies Split Opening Weekend
The Erb Transport Novice A Huskies are looking for your support. Come cheer them on this Saturday (Feb 27) 3:00pm at the Wilmot Recreation Complex as they battle Hespeler in Game #3.
With two goals in the final 1:08, the Huskies stormed back to capture Game #1 from the Shamrocks by the score of 4-3. On Sunday, this group of hard-working Huskies took their act to Hespeler for Game #2 of the best-of-five series. Once again it was a closely contested game. This time, the Shamrocks built a 3-0 lead before the Huskies pushed back. The New Hamburg boys evened the score in the final frame before the Shamrocks managed to score a late goal and secure a 4-3 win of their own.
The series returns to the Dawg Pound for Game #3 this coming Saturday at 3:00pm. Come to cheer on these boys as they continue their quest for the coveted red hats.
