3rd win of the season!
Your Oak Grove Cheese Atom LL2 Huskies were at it again on Saturday when they took on the Wolfpack from Paris. Working hard the whole game as been the theme for this years Husky team as they fought for every inch of ice.
After the Legion of Boom line consisting of Stuart L., Easton M. and Josh B. opened the scoring, Kohen P. scored on a nice wrap around assisted by Jayden B. to put your Huskies up 2-0. Before the end of the 1st Paris was on the board and the score stayed close until your Huskies turned it on. With relentless pressure and solid defense and goaltending, the Huskies broke through with 4 in the third. Goals by Sam W., Kohen P., Josh B. and Stuart L., finished off a strong game by the Wolfpack.
The hard hat award goes to Hayden J. who has displayed some awesome goaltending early this season keeping opponents off the scorebard while your Huskies work to find the net. Although the scoreboard has been rather one sided early this season, we cannot stress enough how the goaltending duo of Hayden J. and Reily C. has kept us in the game. Congrats Hayden!
