Make it 4!
A big spooky matchup was on the books as the Huskies took on the other hometown favourites LL3. LL3 has been impressive this year with their relentless attack, so both the players and coaches knew that this would be a huge test. The game started out with both teams trading opportunities and both goaltenders making outstanding saves while the defense for both teams thwarted any attack

The momentum started to shift as Hayden J. played a trick on LL3 and made a beauty save on a breakaway stretching across the crease doing full splits and from then on LL2 started to turn on the pressure. Opening the scoring halfway through the 2nd period was Sam W. who sniped one low blocker after an impressive burst of speed down the wing. The goal was possible after Ethan G. caused a turnover and Zack K. sauced a sweet pass to Sam. Solid defending by the D core of Tanner A., Zach B., Jayden C., Evan H. and Ryan W. help maintain a 1 goal game. After some remarkable saves by Riley C. the Legion of Broom, I mean Boom was at it again as Josh B. went top shelf where momma keeps the halloween candy and again blocker side to seal the win. Special mention to Spencer F., Kohen P. and Jayden B. who collectively had at least 15 shots on net alone often pinning LL3 in their own zone.

Today's hard hat winner goes to a player who has demonstrated great skills, patience, and hockey sense and who always comes to the rink ready to play. Lets not forget his wicked wrist shot that has goalies fearing LL2. Congrats to Sam W. keep up the great work!.
