The New Hamburg Huskies Peewee A team recovered from a two-goal deficit and finished with a 3-3 tie against the Halton Hills Thunder on Thursday night.
Offensively, the Huskies were bolstered by two goals from Joey Gibson, who also set up the third Huskies goal scored by Izac Blum.
"We executed our plays well and kept the puck in their zone for a good portion of the game," said defenceman Colton Porchak, who noted that the Halton Hills capitalized on man-advantage situations.
The Huskies' next game is Sunday on the road against Burlington.
