Your Peewee LL2 Huskies travelled to the near North this weekend to compete in the Dairy Queen Challenge Cup in Exeter. Although the effort was solid, we exited earlier than we would have liked.
We are always looking to improve and make our way upward as a team, but we have to be more consistent to take the next leap. We are all playing our roles, but we just have to be more consistent in execution and play the game we want to, not the competitions'. Lots of little bugs to iron out before the playoffs and we have a good group who will work hard to be successful. Congrats to Liam Banwell showing tenacity and grit all weekend scoring the dirty goals and getting abused along the way taking the Jacket and the Tim Card home for a reward. We did finish on a high in our last game underlining the fact that we have a group that doesn't want to quit at all. Time to focus on our league rivals now for the playoffs which start very soon..
