Hello Players and Parents!
I would like to welcome everyone to the tryouts and thank you for taking the time to attend. I wish every skater the best of luck.
Please check the Team Calendar for all the ice times including exhibition games. All players are guaranteed 2 ice times. Each player will receive a code when they arrive for their first ice time along with an information letter. I have listed details on the tryout process, expectations and team information on the letter.
Please keep track of your spring tryout code. I will use the team page to post additional tryout information and updates on releases are found on the Tryout Player List. When you visit the website and your code is not shown then your child has been released. Players are then encouraged to tryout for the Atom AE tryouts (please check the NHHA website for more information).
I expect that all players arrive 30 minutes before each scheduled tryout ice time and 45 minutes before each exhibition game. Parents are welcome to come into the dressing room to help tie their player’s skates if that help is needed. Before games I do ask that parents vacate the room 15 minutes prior to game time.
I am aware that some players (and/or parents) may experience anxiety during this process. PLEASE kindly reinforce with your child that they perform their best when feeling relaxed and confident. It is also important for parents to help manage their child’s expectations during this process. A roster position on this team should never be assumed. Let’s all make the tryout process an enjoyable one.
