- Shooting low has a higher percentage of ending in a goal. If it doesn't go in, a low shot will result in more rebound chances.
- If shooting high go high glove.
- Driving the puck down behind the net creates confusion on other team's defense and can help generate the opportunity to pass out to the slot for a scoring chance.
- Passing the puck is a great way to generate high quality scoring chances. Players should create separation from one another and the player without the puck should drive the net hard with their stick on the ice.
