U12 Tryouts
Hello Players and Parents!

I would like to welcome everyone to the U12 AA tryouts, thank you for taking the time to attend.

Please check the Team Calendar for all the ice times including exhibition games. We are combining the first ice time to be a two hour session, please come on Tuesday September 21st for 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

You will need to check in at the table and receive your pinnie. We will be doing skills for approx 40 mins, then we will split into teams and scrimmage 3 on 3, 4 on 4, and 5 on 5 for the remainder of the ice time.

All players are guaranteed 2 ice times.  Each player will receive a code when they arrive for their first ice time along with an information letter.  I have listed details on the tryout process, expectations and team information on the letter.

I will use team page to post additional tryout information.  Rosters for each exhibition game will be posted the night before the game. For the two ice times on Friday September 24th, your child will be in one or the other, I will have this posted by player code on the website by 10pm Wednesday September 22nd.

Please keep track of your tryout code. Releases are found on the Tryout Player List.  When you visit the website and your code is not shown then your child has been released.  Players are then encouraged to tryout for the U13 AE tryouts (please check the NHHA website for more information).

Please ensure that you are aware of the WRC protocols and any changes posted on the NHHA website.

Anyone who has received this email has registered to attend tryouts, if you are not planning to attend, please let me know so arrangements can be made to remove your child from the tryout process.

I am aware that some players (and/or parents) may experience anxiety during this process. It is also important for parents to help manage their child’s expectations during this process.  A roster position on this team should never be assumed.

If you have a concern regarding a release, then please respect the OMHA protocol of waiting 24 hours to contact me.  Please contact me via email after this time.  If I receive an email before this time, I will respond when the 24 hour wait period has expired.
Best of luck during tryouts and I look forward to seeing you at the rink soon!
