Huskies Return to Hockey!
Submitted By Stacey Dineen on Sunday, August 23, 2020
With September just around the corner, we would like to provide an update for our Return to Hockey for the 2020-2021 season.  Presently the NHHA Executive is working closely with the OMHA and Wilmot arena to develop a plan for hockey this season.

Following the OHF Framework, it is anticipated that we will begin Stage 3b on-ice practices focusing on player skill development with social distancing and non-contact practices in September.

We hope to finalize registration costs soon to communicate to everyone.  If you forgot to pre-register, please contact [email protected] so we can ensure your name is put on the waiting list as spots become available.

Once registration fees are collected, we plan split players into two group bubbles per age category of 50 or less players.  AAA, AA, B, or NRP players that played for another centre last season are allowed to return to that centre or return to NHHA for this season.

If the OMHA progresses to Stage 3c,d,e, NHHA hopes to expand its development program to include 3v3/4v4 internal matches or games against local centres for some teams.

We greatly appreciate everyone's understanding and patience as we work through these challenging and constantly changing times.

Keep checking the website for more updates soon!
