Update - Return to Hockey Part Deux
Submitted By Stacey Dineen on Thursday, February 11, 2021
This message is for all NHHA members from our association president, Nathan Joseph:

NHHA is working with the Wilmot Recreational Centre to return to the ice as soon as possible. This return is dependent upon the provincial decision to return Waterloo Region to Red, Orange or better under COVID-19 response framework: keeping Ontario safe and open | Ontario.ca

The Province will decide and inform what colour code Waterloo Region will be in to put our community in the best position to combat COVID 19 and its various strains.

Team ice times are tentatively posted on the website and will match team ice times before the lockdown break to the best of our abilities.  Coaches will be informed when teams can return to the ice soon.   It is NHHA intent to finish out the season as best as possible extending the previous mid-March end date into April and possibly May based on ice availability from the township.

Participation will continue to commence within a 50-player bubble for all players while maintaining physical distancing as they have all season.  NHHA will continue to follow public health guidelines to stay safe while providing physical activity for our youth players, volunteers, and community as we return to the ice through this hockey season.
