Players:
We have had some equipment issues this past week. A reminder to take the time to check all of your equipment for wear and replace where necessary to ensure your gear is safe for use. We have had a broken skate blade, dull skates, skate laces that are ready to snap. Ensure your helmet is properly sized, your cage catches the guides on your helmet to prevent a collapse of your mask into your chin and ensure all screws are secure. Some mouthguards are old and worn - replace these for your own safety.
Parents:
We plan to have a social event where families can get acquainted and we can outline our season plan and team budget to our parent group. We will also be looking for volunteers to assist in the work to run the various administrative aspects of our hockey team this season. Discussions are in the works and we'll communicate the date and location of this event when decided.
