Siver Stick Regional Finalists
The EJs Bantam AE Huskies experienced the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat in reaching the Finals of the AE1/2 Georgina Regional Silver Stick tournament Dec. 12-14, 2014 in Keswick. After falling 2-1 to Clarington in the round robin opener the team faced the stiff task of knocking of Ajax and a tough home squad from Georgina to make it out of their pool. They did both by scores of 7-2 and 2-1. They then defeated league rival Guelph 2-0 in the semis to set-up a Finals rematch with the host AE1 Georgina Blaze. Georgina capitalized on numerous third period power plays to win 4-2.
