Lincoln Memorial Tournament Champs
Fresh off their stellar OMHA Finals run, the Huskies rolled down the QEW to compete in the year-end Lincoln Memorial Tournament. The team put together two very similar round-robin efforts scoring 3 third period goals in a two minute span in successive 3-0 wins Lincoln and Prince Edward County. Next up was a 3-1 semi-final win over the nearby Grimsby Peach Kings. The Huskies then battled from a 2-0 deficit late in the second of the final game to emerge with a 3-2 win over the South Muskoka Bears to win the gold! This capped off an impressive season that saw the team finish first in the Tri-County Bantam Russell Division, win gold at the St. Marys and Lincoln Tournaments and be Silver Stick and OMHA Finalists.
