Hello Hockey Parents and Pee Wee A Players.
In just a few days, we finally begin our tryout for the Major Pee Wee A Huskies team. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone back on the ice.
All players will be guaranteed to participate in our initial 2 hour ice time and at least one exhibition game. Please see below for additional info about our tryouts.

First Team Practice!
|
All players are expected to arrive at least 45 minutes before each game time. Dress code for games is kaki or dress pants (no jeans), collared shirt (ties not necessary), Huskies jacket (if you have one), and dress shoes. Bring running shoes for the pre-game warm up. Those players who are not dressing for a game are still expected to attend and cheer on their mates. Game lineups will be posted on the website the day before the game.
I know many of the boys are currently playing for various Spring Hockey Teams. If any of those tournaments will conflict with our tryout times, please let me know immediately. I will do my best to accommodate these schedules, but please understand that I need to see the boys on the ice as much as possible to evaluate and compare.
As noted above, the first round of releases will occur after the first exhibition game, via the NHHA website. Please keep track of your spring tryout number. If your NHHA spring tryout number is not shown on the website then your son has been released from the team and is invited to the AE tryouts in September. For the final releases and interviews, we ask that one parent join the interview. Out of respect and privacy for each of the players, I would ask that families leave the arena directly following your interview.
Once the roster is finalized, more specific information will be given regarding team fees, tournaments and player expectations.
Thank you for your continued support of New Hamburg Hockey. If you have any further questions regarding the Pee Wee A Tryouts, please feel free to contact me at your convenience.
Sincerely,
Rod Lichti
