UPDATED UPDATE - Red Protocol Changes Nov 27th
Submitted By Stacey Dineen on Thursday, November 26, 2020
***** New Update Friday Nov 27th *****

Thank you for bearing with us as things have been changing rapidly. We are doing everything we can to keep our players on the ice!

Please see this press release from the Region of Waterloo regarding Red Control restrictions and how they must be applied at recreation facilities.

Please review all updated information on our Arrival & Exit Protocols page. Some highlights are below:

 - Limit of 10 PARTICIPANTS (players) per rink.  Coaches and trainers do not count toward that total.
- Parents/guardians WILL BE ALLOWED to enter the rink to tie skates. The lobby is closed, but one spectator per child will be allowed to watch practice at the rink side.

Please review all the new protocols in detail to familiarize yourself with the new format.  Keep in mind that the lobby is closed, including public washrooms. Parents/guardians or players must not hang out or mingle anywhere at the WRC (including the parking lot).  Stay in designated areas, DO NOT cross barriers for any reason, and maintain physical distance of 2m (6ft) at all times.

We understand this year of hockey has been anything but perfect with constant changes and we appreciate everyone's understanding through these difficult times.  Please note these conditions are NOT driven by the Township of Wilmot but that from The Region of Waterloo,  Public Health Unit.  We hope these Red Control conditions are only temporary and we will return shortly to our normal Orange Restrict programming.
