Atom AE Huskies Help Out a Family in Need
The Atom AE Huskies are helping out a family in need through the Wilmot Family Resource Center.
The boys were given a family to help out around the Christmas season. On Friday November 25th they met at Mackay's No Frills and went on a shopping spree. The boys were assigned to 4 teams, with each team having a unique list of groceries they had to get. With roles assigned, the boys scoured the aisles looking for the items on their list. There were lots of smiles and laughs as they found out that shopping isn't so easy. They filled a cart full of groceries and made the coaches proud. Dave let them hang out back in the store and even let them go in the freezer.
The team will be picking up a few gifts for the family as well so that they will have a great Christmas season! The boys were very gracious and would have gladly added more to the cart if they were allowed! :)
