Huskies Take Game Two

Another win for the Atom AE Huskies as they defeated the Tillsonburg Tornadoes 4-0 in their series for OMHA play downs. Harty (Zach Hart) was hot on Hardy Street (address of the arena) as he brilliantly backhanded the first goal of the night, then knocked another goal in minutes later. Both goals were assisted by Noah Walmsley and the second by Aidan Voisin. Jake Schweitzer made it three off a pass from Brandon Ropp, and Corson Myers sealed the deal with the fourth goal with a pass out in front by Schweitzer. Ryan Hillar, Logan Kleine and Scott Carey were like magnets at the blue line and worked tremendously hard to keep the puck out of the Huskies end. Sam Herrle hustled to back check as did Ropp. The Huskies did a great job killing a penalty in the third. Max Evans was hot in net with many poke checks demonstrating confidence and skill. A great team effort overall as the Huskies are truly gelling as a team, and learning that passing to each other and working as a team unit is paying off. The Huskies next game is 6:00 pm Saturday night at home. Go Huskies!
