Four Point Road Weekend
Your LL2 Huskies were away all weekend with stops in Embro and Woolwich as we get away from a string of home games.
Saturday, we slipped down to Embro to face the Edge who are below us in the standings but not a pushover by any means as they have near 50-50 record and have played tough teams for some ties. We had slow start and although we controlled the play for the most part, we could not seem to put a scoring play together. We finally solved a good goalie and came away with the 2 points.
Sunday we went North to Mennonite country to face the pesky Wildcats of Woolwich who always seem to give our organization trouble. Another slow start but our commitment to having puck possession always pays off in the end and our solid goaltending on both days secured not only all four possible points of the weekend, but a shutout for Mason Sunday. Good Job Fellas. We have a game free week coming up although we have two practices to do some fine tuning as there are some much tougher teams lurking ahead..
