Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda..
Back on the ice after the holiday break, we had to shake off some rust and get down to the business of hockey versus the Ayr Flames 2 team.
The boys were eager to get back to playing and had good energy in this game, controlling most of the play and looking after their individual assignments. But for a couple of quick whistles in the wrong end, a post ringer on a breakaway and a rolling-puck-penalty shot, we would have grabbed that extra point against a team that I'm sure we will see again in a playoff round. Next up will be the tournament in Exeter in two weeks. We have next weekend off it looks like so take a break, relax, maybe take the family to Cuba or something..
