Thank you all players for your hard work and energy through the tryouts. Each of you worked extremely hard and left it all out on the ice. I was impressed with how quickly and well each player adapted to body contact.
The first set of releases have been posted on our Tryout Player List. These are never easy decisions. If your number is no longer listed, you have been released from the U14A Huskies and you will continue on with the U15B tryouts or return to your home centre. I wish each player the best for the 2024/25 season.
For those players whose number is still listed, congratulations on making it to the next stage of the tryout process. We have 2 more exhibition games to close out our tryouts and I'm looking for players to continue to bring their best each time they step on the ice. As we move forward, remember to showcase:
- composure while under pressure
- pressuring the opposition
- puck movement with speed
- taking a hit to make a play
- COMMUNICATION
