OHF Issues Public Update on Tampering
The Ontario Hockey Federation is providing a public update on tampering allegations and resulting sanctions since the introduction of open player movement in Minor Hockey in December 2024.
Please see their
public update on the OHF website and read the following statement from their official instagram account below:
"As we look ahead to announcements for the 2026-2027 season, it's important that coaches and associations continue to follow Ontario Hockey Federation guidelines around communication, evaluations and recruitment.
These standards protect all associations, and keep the focus where it belongs - on development, safety and positive team culture.
By respecting timelines and boundaries, we help create a better hockey experience for everyone involved.
Let's grown the game the right way"
OHF's full instagram post will also be shared on our New Hamburg Huskies instagram as well.
