Spring Evaluations and Development Skate Registration Coming Soon
Registration for Spring Development Skates will open March 15th and for Spring Evaluations on April 1st.
The New Hamburg Hockey Association plans to host Spring Evaluations for the following teams: our U8 and U9 MD teams and our A and B teams up to U16. Evaluations for our U18 teams will all be held in the fall.
NEW THIS SEASON – The OMHA has granted permission for New Hamburg to run their A evaluations during the OHF's posted AA window. As such, evaluations will commence as early as April 25, with final dates to be confirmed soon. Please monitor our website and calendars closely. The schedule for evaluations will change as evaluation games against other centres are scheduled closer to the evaluation start dates. Evaluation dates for our B programming will fall in line with OHF posted dates.
Development Skates will be offered for the U8-U16 ages prior to April 17th and may be attended by any player rostered to a New Hamburg Hockey Association team during the 2025–2026 season.
Open Borders policies for U10 and above are currently being finalized. We encourage registration from non-hometown players and anticipate accepting a maximum of 5 non-hometown skaters and 1 non-hometown goaltender for A teams. The maximum number of hometown players for B and/or BB teams remains under consideration.
Please note that non-hometown players will not be accepted for our MD programs.
