Sabres vs Flames 12/14/2013
The Novice LL3 visited the First Niagara Center to see the Sabres host the Calgary Flames
29 players and family members braved the wintry weather to head to Buffalo to see the Sabres host the Flames, unfortunately for Sabres fans the Flames scored early in overtime to take the game 2-1.
The boys were super fans wearing their blue jerseys that matched the home town Sabres jerseys. They managed to get the New Hamburg Huskies name on the scoreboard but it was too bad that the cameras couldn't display the Huskies player pride by putting the boys on the screen to but everyone had a great time.
A sad note for the coaching staff, a bet was made with the boys that if the Flames won that the coaches would have to do 2 hard laps at practice, so gentlemen bring your skating legs with you Thursday morning!
