Huskies Set A New "Goals For" Record
The New Hamburg Novice HL3 team travelled (for the first time) this past Sunday to St. Clements, to set a new 'Goals for' record for the team, beating the home goaltender 5 times!
Unfortunately, it was once again a goal shy of a win against this Twin Centres team. The Huskies managed to take the lead early in the first, and did a great job hanging tough with the lead for the majority of the game. The boys even escaped the second period 'collapse curse', but fell short in the third period losing 6-5. Solid performances from the forward lines, especially Kohen P, Cohen W and Moir F. Chipping in on an assist, and playing his best game this season; solid on the attack and managing a great two way effort up and down the ice, our hardest working player of the game goes to Finn Scozzafava!
