Settled for a Tie!
Your Huskies had to settle for a 3-3 tie today against HL1!
The boys came out strong with a quick goal, 10 seconds in from Kohen P, unassisted. HL1 would answer back despite the strong performance from Deklan in net. Deklan would continue to turn away quite a few difficult shots, and kept us in the game. With help from the strong performance of Finn S and Trent A on D, HL1 had to work extra hard to find their next two goals. Trent's strong play today earned him a shot on goal that he capitalized on, and Kohen P added a second unassisted goal to give us 3, despite HL1 somehow managing to find the back of our net. This definitely sets the tone for an almost immenent playoff battle between the two teams. Hats off to all the boys, in particular Cohen W, who will sport the Hard Hat this week for his stellar performance on the offense, and Trent A, who will take the lunch box to school for his extra effort from the back line!
