Schedule & Results, Atom AE, U11, 2013-2014 (New Hamburg Hockey Association)

The NH huskies Atom AE team held its home opener at the New Hamburg Optimist Arena tonight and fell 3-1 to the Woolwich Wildcats.  It was a well fought game and the boys showed that they have what it takes and gave it their all!
Jesse Gerber scored for the Huskies on a sharp wrist shot from the right face-off circle on a pass from Colin McBride to tie the game at 1-1 near the end of the first period.  The score stayed that way through the second and with almost 7 minutes to go, Woolwich scored two quick goals in a matter of seconds to clinch the win. Goaltender, Jordan Hopkins, played a solid game to keep the score close for the Huskies.  Keep playing hard Huskies!  We can do it next time!
