Last League Game WIN for the Huskies
Congratulations to Bantam AE as they secured a great win versus the Woolwich Wild in last night's season-ending league game. The Huskies won 3-1 against the Wild in an end to end nail-biter. Spencer Boshart lit the lamp to start off the scoring with a sneak around dump into the net.
Shortly after that, Marcus Scheid gave the dogs a nice two-goal lead with a great pass from his linemates. The Wild came back and snuck one by later in the game, but in the third, Jack Weiler launched one in with a great pass from Luke Aikman. Goaltending by Matthew Krmpotic was excellent, and special mention to the defensive team of Cam Lowry, Jordan Hempey, Wes Howey and Ryan Hillar who held their ground throughout the game. The Huskies will now begin their OMHA play downs seeing the Wild again on Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Play as a TEAM boys - Go HUSKIES!
