Atom A, U11, 2017-2018 (New Hamburg Hockey Association)

Throughout the year, the New Hamburg Huskies Atom A hockey team has had the opportunity to play many excellent teams. But never have the boys left the ice with more admiration and respect for an opponent then Sunday when they had the opportunity to play an exhibition game with the Woolwich Thrashers Junior Sledge Hockey team.

November is national diabetes awareness month.  To show their support, the Pestell Group Atom A Huskies will be wearing blue skate laces.  The team would like to thank Play it Again Sports (Kitchener) for outfitting the boys with blue laces for this cause. If you'd like to see this hard-working group in action, you can catch them on most Tuesday evenings at the WRC.  You're welcome to an entire seat, but you'll only need the edge!

(by team correspondent Kevin Lederman) The New Hamburg Atom A Huskies began their 2017/18 season with a trip into GTHL country as they participated in the West Mall Earlybird Tournament in Etobicoke last weekend. With some fresh new faces along with the return of an old friend, the boys along with coaches, parents and fans were all anxious to get an early look at what this team may be capable of this season.

All remaining players/goalies are required to be ready to play Saturday's game in Woolwich.  Please arrive 45 minutes prior to game time.  Final releases will be held on Sunday after the last scheduled ice time.  At least one parent is asked to be available for the player/goalie meetings.
