Cohen slushie skater and Brody continues shutout streak
Cohen Christner was a defensive specialist today as he shut down the LL2 team today in a 2-0 win. His head was on a swivel as he was always the first guy to the puck in our end and moved around in the neutral zone with confidence when he had the puck. As the team defended the 1 goal lead Cohen took off with the puck from our end and deked out 3 players before making the pass of the year on a 2 on 1 over to Cole. Cole made a move on the goalie and buried the insurance goal with 4 minutes remaining.
Brody continued his shutout streak to 2 games as the
Nelson netminder made key saves trroughout the game and in the final seconds to preserve the esteemed slusie shutout. Great work Brody! have fun in Florida and we will try to fill those skates until you return!
Kaden and Owen also chipped in with assists on Cole's first goal and paired up to shut down the opposition as well.
The team now prepares for the Embro Tournament next weekend as we play in the Hockey day in Canada event in the metropolis of Embro.
