Sunday and Tuesday playoff recaps
The New Hamburg Atom AE Huskies continued their strong playoff play with recent back-to-back wins.

On Sunday, the Huskies came out on the winning end of a 2-1 overtime tilt against the Woolwich Wildcats. Kyle Barr scored both goals for New Hamburg, with the winner coming less than a minute into the sudden death frame. On Tuesday, the Huskies exploded for eight goals -- the team's highest offensive output of the season -- at home against the Erin-Hillsburgh Devils for a convincing 8-0 win. Presley Schaub scored a natural hat trick to lead the scoring with single tallies to Braden Pfaff, Brendan Larocque, Aaron Geiger, Kyle Barr and Colton Porchak. As impressive as the Huskies were offensively, they were just as impressive defensively with excellent penalty kill work and solid defensive zone play to keep Jordan Hopkins' workload in goal not overly taxing. ‎The next test for the Huskies comes this Thursday against the Hespeler Shamrocks.---
