Epic Battle to the Bitter End!
With the message going into the game of "hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard". A positive attitude allowed the huskies to stay focused and to battle to the bitter end against a tough unbeaten Woolwich squad. While trailing 4-1 the huskies scored with a only a minute left to make a valiant effort for an exciting finish.
The Hustling Huskie was awarded to Devon Straus for his never quit attitude. This little guy is always at the right place at the right time being at the net to pop in those rebounds. Devon has scored a goal every game for the last three games. Keep it up Devon!
The team looks forward to work hard at the next practice to prepare for an exciting weekend of hockey, one league game Saturday and a tournament Sunday!
