Great Effort
The LL3 Boys came out flying in their game against Twin Centre LL2. The Huskies spent most of the 1st period in the offensive zone but were unable to capitalize on the pressure. The Twin Centre team put in the first goal in the dying minutes of the first period. The Huskies came out strong again in the second period with Devon S. opening up the scoring 3 minutes into the period. Jonas J put in the go ahead goal three minutes later after a scramble in front of the Twin Centre net.
Twin Centre answered right away to tie the game. Devon S. did a fantastic job of positioning himself in front of the net and was able to control a beautiful long pass from Ethan F. to net the Huskies third goal with two minutes to go in the second. Cameron S. made the score 4-2 with under two to go in the second. The Twin Centre Stars came on strong in the third scoring four goals. Connor N scored the lone Husky goal in the third - the first of his season - earning him the title of Hustling Husky - Congrats Connor! The Boys played a great game but were unable to come away with the win. Good luck tomorrow in Kitchener!
