Great Effort
The boys came out flying today. They had numerous chances in the first few minutes but were unable to get anything past a great Beverly goalie. Beverly brought the pressure right back and scored with three minutes to go in the first period. The Huskies came out strong again to start the second period, with multiple shots on goal, but were unable to convert.
Again, Beverly came right back and scored their second goal with four to go in the period. Huskies goalie Owen Roth made several great saves to keep the game within reach. Beverly continued to apply pressure in the third and scored their third goal four minutes into the period. The Huskies dug in and answered back with Drew Weinacht taking an amazing pass from Jonas Jurusz to come within two. Unfortunately for the Huskies, they were unable to come back in the dying minutes of the game. Congrats to Jonas for being the Hustling Huskie in today's game.
