Bantam LL3, U15, 2012-2013 (New Hamburg Hockey Association)

It was a long road from September until March but The Delivery Guys Husky Bantam LL3 were determined to cross the finish line in the top slot. Having secured first place in round-robin play-down action, the Huskies played host to the second place Paris Wolf Pack LL2 on March 21. It was the first game of their best of three series to determine the Grand Valley League Championship and the Dogs were primed for the fight. 

The Delivery Guys Husky Bantam LL3 took a short break from play-downs to take in the Max Partlo Memorial Tournament in Tillsonburg on March 22 – 24. The Dogs were one of ten teams divided into two pools competing for the top prize. Friday evening saw the Pack face off against the Sturgeon Lake Thunder in a tough, physical game. 

With 4 wins and 0 losses, the Delivery Guys Husky Bantam LL3 were looking to solidify their advancement into the play-down finals but first they had to get past a pair of very tough teams from Paris. Game 5 of their round robin went on March 4 in Paris as the Dogs faced the Wolf Pack LL2 in what became a very tough contest of wills. 

It was a near run thing for the Delivery Guys Husky Bantam LL3 when they hosted the Paris Wolf Pack LL1 on February 24. The Dogs were looking to continue their play-down success story but the visitors had other ideas. The match became one of the toughest contests the Huskies played all season and victory was by no means assured. 

The Delivery Guys Husky Bantam LL3 took on the Tavistock Titans in two back-to-back play-down games that tested the Dogs to the limit. February 16 saw the Huskies on the road for their second play-down match against an opponent that beat them in regular season. But the Pack was mentally prepared for this showdown.
