Midget LL2, U18 Midget, 2017-2018 (New Hamburg Hockey Association)

Submitted by Albert Ross The Midget Huskies LL2s secured 2 back-to-back dominating wins that will go far towards the team goal of securing a top two slot at the end of the play-off round robin action and a trip to the championship finals. The Dogs were in Beverly on February 23 to do battle with the Bandits, a team that had a reputation for scoring a lot of goals but also giving up a lot. 

Submitted by Al Ross The Midget Huskies LL2 began their post-season play-off run at home when they hosted the Ayr Flames LL1 on January 27. The Flames were the first of 4 teams the Dogs will face in the A-pool round-robin series to decide which 2 teams will advance to the championship finals. 

Submitted by Al Ross The Midget Huskies LL2 have secured an A-pool playoff berth in the Grand River Local League. The Dogs made it official after their second last regular season game when they travelled to Plattsville on January 7 and notched the win that made the mathematics indisputable. 

Submitted by Albert Ross The Midget Huskies LL2 needed a win at home on December 21 after a humbling road loss in Hespeler earlier in the week. With only 4 games left in regular season, the Dogs needed the points if they wanted to remain in A-pool contention. As it happened, their opponent was also desperate for points and the team they faced was the Midget Huskies LL3. 

Submitted by Al Ross The Midget Huskies LL2 were anxious to add another win to their total when they hosted the Ayr Flames LL2 on December 16. The Dogs went on a blistering offensive charge right from the fist puck drop, gaining the offensive zone and testing the opposition goalie.
